Derived from the Ancient Greek word "khemia", it refers to an early practice of transformation and the medieval precursor to chemistry. Rooted in the idea of transmutation: the transformation of matter, particularly the pursuit of turning base metals into gold, it represents a process of creation, combination, and renewal.

KHEMIA Studio was founded in 2021. We believe jewellery is not merely an accessory, but a way to connect with oneself in daily life. Each piece carries touch, memory, and emotion, reflecting the wearer’s temperament and spirit.
The brand was born from a desire to restore a true connection between people and objects. Through simple yet meaningful design, KHEMIA creations emphasise touch, feeling, and the experience of interaction. To us, the value of jewellery lies not in seeking attention, but in the confidence and connection it brings.
Inspired by the philosophy of “wearable art”, KHEMIA transforms craftsmanship into everyday intimacy. What once felt distant becomes tangible and personal. Each design carries beauty that can be seen, felt, and experienced, bringing warmth and possibility to daily life.
We explore the possibilities of different materials and the relationships they create with one another. Silver, natural stones, wood, crystals, fabrics, and other elements are carefully selected for their unique textures, colours, and characteristics.
Through continuous exploration, KHEMIA Studio seeks to discover new expressions across jewellery, garments, and objects. Each material retains its own identity, while unexpected encounters between different elements create pieces with depth, balance, and individuality.
We preserve and explore traditional techniques, including hand-brushing, wood inlay, filigree, and other artisanal processes, while integrating them with contemporary design approaches. Each piece is shaped through skilled hands, where precision, patience, and respect for materials come together to create works that reflect the beauty of craftsmanship.
We explore connections with different creative fields through collaborations with artists, designers, brands, and practitioners across various disciplines. Through pop-ups, workshops, and collaborative projects, we create opportunities for different perspectives, disciplines, and creative practices to come together.
