The body is always in a state of movement.
Every gesture, pause, and encounter reshapes it and, in turn, leaves its mark on the garments that accompany it. What truly remains is not a single moment, but the traces accumulated between the wearer and the garments through the passage of time.
KHEMIA’s AW 2026 collection “PASSAGE” begins with the textures of nature, reimagining the relationship between the body and clothing. We believe that garments should not shape the body, but respond to it; they should not impose a fixed ideal, but adapt to different states of life, following the body’s movements, rhythms, and emotions, allowing the act of dressing to return to a state of natural ease.
Natural materials become the central language of this collection. Soft suede, leather, wool, knitwear, and fur create layers of depth through their varied weights, textures, and drapes. With time and wear, these materials gradually develop their own unique surfaces, recording the traces of the body and everyday life. Relaxed, fluid forms move with the body, bringing a sense of breath and ease to each garment, while returning clothing to a state of effortless comfort.
The colour palette also draws from nature. Shades of brown, beige, and black establish a quiet and warm foundation, inspired by landscapes shaped by time: weathered earth, the rings of trees, and the shifting tones created by winter light. Within this restrained palette, the authentic textures and natural qualities of each material become part of the design itself, allowing clothing and jewellery to share the same language of time, material, and craftsmanship.
True design does not define a way of living; it evolves through time alongside the person who wears it. Each piece becomes a companion through everyday moments, gradually forming a personal connection with the wearer, and becoming an intimate part of everyday life.
